PHOTOGRAPHY

Here are several collections of my photographs. Feel free to download the images in the gallery. You are free to use them for noncommercial, personal purposes. The images will print up to 9x6.5 inches at 180dpi, presumably to be printed on an 8.5x11 inch paper with an 1 inch border. If you would like a larger print or if you would like to use a photograph commercially, please contact me.

If you would like to keep up with my photographic work, please subscribe to my flickr account or my facebook page.

ACTION PAINTING (ROAD)

I am approaching roads as hosts of action, just as the action painters approached their canvases. The results are similar. This series is currently in progress.

SCIENCE FICTION

Science Fiction is a series of photographic artifacts from an alternate time and space. They are grouped in threes according to subject. Admittedly, this works better on a wall than in linear sequence. More images to come.

NONFICTION (ANECDOTES), COLOR

Nonfiction is a collection of photographs from my life. The images are of people and places that I have naturally encountered—images that are found, not sought after. These are the color images.

EARLY WORK

I took up photography in January 2003 when I was 17. During my lunch and study periods, I would go into my high school's darkroom facility and work. My favorite photographer at the time was Minor White, and I primarily photographed abstract surfaces and people. I continued to work in a mid-20th century aesthetic for several years. These are the selected works.
